Experience and Leadership That Has Everyone Talking
In a move that points to the significance of having local leaders who can work as a team with state and federal elected officials, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has endorsed Ulster County District 8 legislative candidates Tracey Bartels and Carl Zatz.
“Tracey Bartels and Carl Zatz represent the best when it comes to open, honest government. That's the sort of partnership I'm glad to be part of."
-- Attorney General Andrew Cuomo
“Our environmental and health issues need decision-makers like Tracey Bartels and Carl Zatz. They not only have the experience, they have the track record too.”
-- Congressman Maurice Hinchey
“Tracey and Carl are proven leaders; they have the credentials to help me promote an effective energy policy in Ulster County."
-- Assemblymember Kevin Cahill
This year is a very important election year. In order to maintain the type of values, integrity, and excellence we worked so hard for during the intensity of the presidential elections, we need to turn up and vote. There's no such thing as an off-year. Two years ago, three Republicans took advantage of the low turnout of an off-year and slipped into three legislative seats right here in District 8. As I repeat in other areas of this website: There really is no such thing as an off year.
Now more than ever, our county government needs leaders who know how to work with people of all political stripes to get the right things done. Tracey and Carl have consistently demonstrated these qualities, throughout Tracey's term as County Legislator and Carl's terms as Town Supervisor. Help keep the decisions in responsible hands. Be generous and donate to our campaign and get the vote out.
